Dr Khurana completed his graduation in dental sciences in 2001 and has been practicing general dentistry for more than 13 years and pursued the post graduate studies in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in 2004 from RGUHS University and Bapuji Dental College and Hospital which is World renowned. Upon completion was awarded the best outgoing student of Master in Dental Surgery for his batch in 2004-2007. He was teaching students in a dental school between 2007 and 2012. Owned and operated 2 successful dental surgeries and then gave his Australian Dental Council (ADC) exam for overseas dentists from James Cook University, Cairns in 2012.
He started practicing dentistry in Sarina, near Mackay from 2012 and is loved by his patients for his caring and gentle approach and his value to the relationship he builds with his patients. He has helped many people to overcome their dental fears and believes in preventive care and educates his patients to well understand the ongoing process and its management.
Dr Khurana can provide dental treatment under Inhalation Sedation (Happy gas). He is well versed with Cosmetic Dentistry, Crown and Bridge and has been dealing successfully with emergencies from past several years and is well experienced and trained for wisdom teeth extractions and enjoys doing general dentistry.
Dr Khurana believes in always keeping himself up to date with latest advancements and equipment and has undergone extensive training in various aspects in general dentistry and Inhalation Sedation procedures. He regularly attends continuing Professional Development Education and actively participates in patient management and team building workshops.
Not only Dr Khurana is an excellent dental practitioner but also have won table tennis competitions and in his free time enjoys spending time with his family, listen to music and playing with his son.
